Here’s a reminder of some upcoming events in the life of our church:

This Sunday we will have Mike Klassen and his group “Almighty Twang“ lead us in worship.

This Sunday is also our final Burger for a Buck: 5:30pm at the church.

Friday, September 16 is Family Movie Night at the church. The movie is “Flubber.” 7:00pm. Popcorn will be provided.

September 18 will be our Sunday School kickoff. At 9:30 we will have a Cereal Potluck breakfast. Bring your family’s favorite cereal and the church will provide the milk, bowls, and spoons. We will then break into our classes for about a 15 minute class. Hope to see you there! Full classes will begin September 27.

Friday, September 23 is the Ladies’ Book Study. Chapters 18-22 will be discussed.

Erskine Evangelical Free Church is hosting the following events for women:
We have two wonderful women’s speakers coming up and we would like to invite the ladies of your congregation to attend their presentations!
1. On Saturday, October 15, 9:30am we have a workshop with Sharon Neufeld, formerly of Peace River Bible Institute. Sharon has named the workshop “Purposeful Living” and will discuss:  a) Coming to know Jesus Christ in a deeper way,  b) How to minister to others through mentoring and discipleship
2. On Tuesday, November 22, 7:00pm we have an evening with Sheila Wray Gregoire. Sheila is presenting “Girl Talk”, a hilarious but practical evening for married/engaged women about marriage and intimacy the way God designed it. It will be funny and inspiring.

Living Truth Christian School is starting their Apple and Pumpkin Fundraiser. Order deadline is September 21. See their Facebook page for further details.

Our Missions Focus this month is the Penhold Church of Hope. Please pray for Dave and Heather Trenholm and their family.
