Hello Church Family,
Only two more nights until we welcome Gus Olsthoorn (Creation Ministries) at 6:30pm at the church Saturday Night. The two presentations will be: Making Sense of the Creation/Evolution Question, and Amazing Evidences for a Young Earth. There will also be a time for Q&A afterwards. We will be taking a freewill offering and there will be resources available to purchase as well. Hope to see you there!
May Long Weekend is coming up soon, and there are some amazing activities planned for Saturday, May 20 here in Mirror. There is the Food Bank’s Hot Dog fundraiser lunch, and I’m organizing a scavenger hunt. A traveling circus is coming to town and the evening will have a family dance and fireworks.
And so, there is a community clean up planned for Saturday, May 13. Last year we gathered the same morning to spruce things up around the church. Please send me some ideas about what we could do, and I can make a list. If we have lots of extra hands we can head out into the community and do some tidying before enjoying Hot Dog Lunch at the Community Hall.
Tuesday, May 9 is the LTCS Grad at Deer Valley Meadows’ Chapel. Doors open at 5:15pm.
Ladies’ Paint Night is almost full.
Stranger on the Road to Emmaus begins Sunday, May 14 from 3-5pm.
